Bathing the bedbound patient
This video demonstrates a method for providing a bedbath. Note that you don’t have to do everything at once if you find it difficult or tiring. Some people wash the top half of the body in one session and the bottom half in a separate session. Some people provide more frequent bathing of the crucial areas – neck folds, armpits, groin and buttock – and less frequent “full” bed baths.
